You've probably given lots of thought of getting out on your own - maybe even wondering how you can afford college, getting skill training, experience, a stable career, retirement pension and medical coverage. Skill Training, experience and an employer willing to hire may be the biggest barriers you will face.
If you are qualified, You will be able to earn:
Training - The Army will train you in one of 100 plus career skills. If your job requires certification or a license, you will obtain it, and earn it. All US Army technical training is college accredited transferable as college credits.
Education - The Army training earns you college credits towards a degree of your choice. The MGIB provides educational money so you can go to college full time. Plus, the Army provides tuition assistance while you serve so you can attend college at the same time.
Achievements - You'll learn a skill that helps you wherever you go. As you meet challenges and overcome them, your self confidence increases. You'll have the satisfaction of seeing your hard work rewarded as you achieve promotions, increased pay, and respect. Best of all, you'll be serving your country as a soldier.
